Probation Electronic Medical Records System Sole Source Agreement\nAmendment\nRecommendation: Approve and authorize the Interim Chief Probation Officer to\nexecute an amendment to a sole source agreement with Cerner Corporation\n(Cerner) for the provision of a Probation Electronic Medical Records System\n(PEMRS) for ongoing software maintenance and support, hosting, security,\nupgrades implementation, and application management services, to extend the\nterm for a five-year period at an amount of $14,614,358, for a maximum\ncontract amount of $46,460,866, with funding included in the Department’s\nFiscal Year 2022-23 Final Budget; and authorize the Interim Chief Probation\nOfficer to take the following related actions: (Probation Department)\nAPPROVE (NOTE: The Acting Chief Information Officer recommends\napproval of this item.)\nExtend the agreement for two 30-month options, at an amount of\n$7,785,321 and $8,348,640, for the first and second 30-month option\nterms, respectively, and to increase the total maximum contract amount\nto $62,594,828; and\nPrepare and execute amendments to increase the maximum contract\namount by 10% and/or 180 days to the period of performance, pursuant\nto the terms of the agreement.
