Support for Assembly Bill 1306 (Carrillo): Harmonizing Our Measures for\nEquality (HOME) Act\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisors Horvath and Solis: Direct the\nChief Executive Officer, through the Legislative Affairs and Intergovernmental\nRelations Division, to support Assembly Bill 1306 (Carrillo), legislation which\nwould restrict the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation from\ntransferring individuals leaving incarceration to immigration authorities if they\nhave also benefited from recent resentencing and compassionate release\nreforms; and direct the County’s Legislative Advocates in Sacramento to take\nthe appropriate legislative advocacy actions to advance this effort.
