County of Los\nAngeles, et al.\nLos Angeles County Contract Cities Liability Trust Fund Claims Board's\nrecommendation: Authorize settlement of the matter entitled, Lauren Dodson v.\nCounty of Los Angeles, et al., United States District Court Case No.\n2:20-cv-04011, in the amount of $400,000, and instruct the Interim\nAuditor-Controller to draw a warrant to implement this settlement from the\nSheriff's Department Contract Cities Trust Fund's budget.\nThis lawsuit concerns allegations of deliberate fabrication and misrepresenting,\ndistorting, and omitting material information by Sheriff's Deputies.
