Diversion, Outreach, and Opportunities for Recovery (LA DOOR)\nProgram Grant Award\nRecommendation: Authorize the Public Defender to execute an amendment to\naccept additional grant funds in the amount of $7,862, to fund the salary and\nemployee benefits of one Intermediate Typist-Clerk dedicated to the Diversion,\nOutreach, and Opportunities for Recovery (LA DOOR) Program and increase\nthe grant amount from $166,764 to $174,626 for Cohort 2; and accept\nadditional grant funding from the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office for the LA\nDOOR Program, and to extend and execute all required grant award\ndocuments, including, but not limited to, applications, agreements, amendments,\nextensions, and payment requests.
