48. Water Well Systems Maintenance Services Model Master Agreement\nRecommendation: Authorize and instruct the Chair to approve a Model Master\nAgreement (Model Agreement) that will be used to execute Master Agreements\n(Agreements) with qualified vendors to provide as needed Water Well System\nMaintenance Services for the term of April 3, 2023 through April 2, 2028, with\nfive one-year extension options for a total term not to exceed ten years;\nauthorize the Sheriff to execute Agreements substantially similar to the Model\nAgreement with qualified vendors commencing April 3, 2023, to meet the needs\nof the Department, provided sufficient funding is available; and authorize the\nSheriff to execute change orders and amendments to the Agreements as set\nforth throughout the Model Agreement, including change orders and\namendments to effectuate modifications, which do not materially affect any term\nof the Agreements, add new or revised standard County contract provisions\nadopted by the Board as required periodically, exercise option terms, effectuate\nthe assignment and delegation/mergers or acquisitions provision, and terminate\nthe Agreements, either in whole or in part, if necessary.
