2. Public Hearing – Housing Assistance Agency (Section 8) 5-Year Public\nHousing Agency (PHA) Plan 2020-2025 Significant Amendment. (1600)\nChairman Lutz opened the public hearing and noted that there were no written\ncommunications or public comment cards to provide public testimony.\nChairman Lutz closed the public hearing.\nMotion by Commissioner Camacho, seconded by Commissioner Lara to: 1) Approve\nResolution No. HA-106 finding that the approval of the attached resolution is not subject\nto the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to the State CEQA\nGuidelines, California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Chapter 3 15061(b)(3), because\nthe activity is covered by the general rule that CEQA applies only to projects which have\nthe potential for causing a significant effect on the environment and it can be seen with\ncertainty that there is no possibility that the approval of this resolution may have a\nsignificant effect on the environment and none of the exceptions under Section 15300.2\napply; 2) Approve the Housing Assistance Agency Section 8 Program 5-Year PHA Plan\nfor 2020-2025 Significant Amendment; and 3) Authorize the submittal of the Civil Rights\nCertification form to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).\nMotion carries by the following roll call vote:\nResolution No. HA-106 A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING\nASSISTANCE AGENCY, APPROVING SUBMITTAL OF THE PICO\nRIVERA HOUSING ASSISTANCE AGENCY SIGNIFICANT\nAMENDMENT TO THE FIVE-YEAR AGENCY PLAN FOR 2020-2025\nAYES: Camacho, Garcia, Lara, Sanchez, Lutz\nNOES: None
