44. On-Call Architectural/Engineering and Support Services Award\nConsultant Services Agreements\nRecommendation: Award and authorize the Director of Public Works to execute\nconsultant services agreements with Carrier Johnson, DLR Group Inc., and\nJ.C. Chang & Associates, Inc., to provide on-call architectural/ engineering and\nsupport services on various Probation Department projects/studies throughout\nthe County, for an amount not to exceed $5,000,000 for each agreement, for a\nthree-year term, with two one-year extension options, subject to the additional\nextension provisions specified below; and authorize the Director to take the\nfollowing related actions: (Department of Public Works) APPROVE\nAuthorize additional services and extend the contract expiration dates as\nnecessary to complete those additional services when those additional\nservices are previously unforeseen, related to a previously assigned\nscope of work on a given project, and are necessary for the completion\nof that given project;\nSupplement the initial not-to-exceed contract amount of $5,000,000 for\neach of the above referenced three agreements by up to 25% of the\noriginal contract amount based on workload requirements; and\nAdminister each of the agreements and, at the discretion of the Director,\nexercise the two-one year extension options to extend the term of the\nagreements based upon project demands and the level of satisfaction\nwith the consultant services.
