27. Real Estate Agreements at County Owned Telecommunication Towers\nRecommendation: Find that the proposed licenses to the State are in the public\ninterest and the use will not substantially conflict or interfere with the use of the\nproperty by the County at Castro Peak in Malibu, and Rolling Hills in Rancho\nPalos Verdes (3 and 4); authorize the Chief Executive Officer to approve and\nexecute the proposed licenses, to continue to allow the State’s use at Castro\nPeak and Rolling Hills telecommunication towers by the California Highway\nPatrol (CHP); negotiate, approve, execute and/or grant any other consents,\nancillary documentation, sublicenses, or future amendments, which are\nnecessary to effectuate the proposed licenses and the activities permitted under\nthe licenses; and find that the proposed licenses for the continued use and\noccupancy by the CHP at the County-owned Communication Sites are exempt\nfrom the California Environmental Quality Act.
