12. Moving Forward on the Implementation of the County Equity and\nDiversity Fund\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisors Hahn and Mitchell: Adopt the\nChief Executive Officer’s recommendation for the County Equity and Diversity\nFund spending plan proposed in the report dated November 29, 2022, entitled,\n“Report Back on Los Angeles County Initiative on Asian Americans, Native\nHawaiians, and Pacific Islanders;” direct the Chief Executive Officer to work\nwith the relevant named Departments to implement projects from the spending\nplan, with authority to make adjustments as needed; and authorize the Chief\nExecutive Officer to execute an agreement to hire a third-party administrator,\ndistribute allocated funds as outlined in the spending plan, in accordance with\nthe County’s Equity Explorer tool, as a mechanism to target resources to\ncommunities where reported occurrences of hate are the highest.
