2-D. Bringing Families Home Program Funds\nRecommendation: Approve and authorize the Executive Director of the Los\nAngeles County Development Authority to execute, amend, and if necessary,\nterminate Bringing Families Home (BFH) reimbursable contracts, with various\nagencies using $20,902,067 in BFH funds, and execution by all parties through\nJune 30, 2024; approve a subrecipient contract with Volunteers of America Los\nAngeles in the amount of $1,990,205 to provide BFH services in Service\nPlanning Area 2; and authorize the Executive Director, to take the following\nrelated actions: APPROVE\nReprogram BFH funds among the various agencies as needed, in order\nto fully expend the funds granted to the Los Angeles County Development\nAuthority (LACDA) by June 30, 2024;\nExecute, amend, and if necessary, terminate a contract with the Los\nAngeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) for $50,000; and\nReceive and incorporate into LACDA’s annual budget any additional\nfunds, and, if necessary, extend the BFH contracts with the various\nagencies and LAHSA through June 30, 2028.
