City of Los\nAngeles, et al.\nLos Angeles County Claims Board's recommendation: Authorize settlement of\nthe matter entitled, Arturo Aceves Jimenez v. City of Los Angeles, et al., United\nStates District Court Case No. CV 21-07117 JPR, in the amount of\n$1,200,000, and instruct the Auditor-Controller to draw a warrant to implement\nthis settlement from the District Attorney's Office's budget.\nThis lawsuit against the District Attorney's office alleges that plaintiff's wrongful\nconviction resulted in his imprisonment for 25 years.
