Adopt A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURBANK\nAMENDING ARTICLE IX, OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2022-2023 CITYWIDE\nFEE SCHEDULE TO ADD SECTION 10 TO ESTABLISH A FEE\nMETHODOLOGY TO DETERMINE THE VALUATION OF AN EXISTING\nPUBLIC TREE FOR THE PURPOSES OF PUBLIC TREE REMOVALS.\nStaff Report\n2/10/23, 1:01 PM City Council Meeting\nAttachment 1\nAttachment 2\nAttachment 3\nAttachment 4\nAttachment 5\nCorrespondences\nEnvironmental Review: Staff recommends that the City Council find that\nthe proposed City code amendment (the project) is categorically exempt\nfrom environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act\n(Public Resources Code Section 21000 et seq,) ("CEQA") pursuant to\nSections 15060(c)(2), 15060(c)(3), and 15061(b)(3) of the State CEQA\nGuidelines because it will not result in a direct or reasonably foreseeable\nindirect physical change in the environment, because there is no\npossibility that it may have a significant effect on the environment, and\nbecause it is not a ?project? as that term is defined in Section 15378 of\nthe State CEQA Guidelines. Staff also recommends that the City Council\nfind that the project is categorically exempt from CEQA pursuant to\nSection 15308, Class 8, of the CEQA Guidelines pertaining to actions\ntaken by regulatory agencies for the protection of the environment to\nassure the maintenance, restoration, enhancement, or protection of the\nenvironment where the regulatory process involves procedures for\nprotection of the environment.
