Modernizing Critical Water Infrastructure to Adapt to a Changing Climate\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisors Horvath and Barger: Instruct the\nDirector of Public Works, in coordination with the Chief Executive Officer and\nthe Acting Chief Sustainability Officer , to report back to the Board in writing\nwithin 60 days on its continued community outreach on the County Water Plan\nand an expedited implementation schedule, efforts to advance the Safe, Clean\nWater Program to increase local water supply, and strategies to secure the new\nFederal and State funding, announced by the Biden Administration, to help\naccelerate and improve our region’s water resilience.
