30. Domestic Violence Shelter-Based Program Services Sole Source Contract\nAmendments\nRecommendation: Approve and authorize the Director of Public Health to\nexecute 18 sole source contract amendments with the Domestic Violence\nShelter-Based Program (DVSBP) services contractors to increase funding for\nFiscal Year 2022-23, by $957,000 from $1,222,379 to $2,179,379, for the\nperiod effective March 1, 2023 through June 30, 2023; extend the contracts\nthrough June 30, 2025, in the total maximum obligation of $8,186,758, fully\noffset by the Domestic Violence Special Fund and Net County Cost; and\nauthorize the Director to take the following related actions: (Department of\nPublic Health) APPROVE\nExecute amendments to the contracts that extend the term through June\n30, 2026, at amounts to be determined by the Department of Public\nHealth based on funding availability, provide an increase or decrease in\nfunding up to 75% above or below each term’s annual base maximum\nobligation, effective upon amendment execution, or at the beginning of\nthe applicable contract term, and make corresponding service\nadjustments, which may include adjustments to funding distributions\nbetween County Supervisorial Districts and, reflect other necessary\nmodifications to the contract;\nExecute change notices to the contracts that permit non-material and/or\nministerial revisions, that include but are not limited to, the statement(s) of\nwork, budget(s), and other changes to the contracts’ terms and\nconditions; and\nImmediately suspend any contract upon issuing a written notice to the\ncontractors that fail to fully comply with program requirements, terminate\ncontracts for convenience by providing a 30-calendar day advance\nwritten notice to contractors, and accept voluntary contract termination\nnotices from contractors, if necessary.
