3-D. Affirmatively Further Fair Housing with the Housing Rights Center\nContract\nRecommendation: Authorize the Executive Director of the Los Angeles County\nDevelopment Authority to execute and, if necessary, reduce or terminate a\none-year contract, and all related documents on behalf of the County, in the\namount of $720,000, with the Housing Rights Center, to affirmatively further fair\nhousing to residents within the unincorporated areas of the County and 48\nparticipating cities in the Community Development Block Grant program; and\nexecute amendments to the contract to make necessary changes to the scope\nof services, add, delete and/or change certain terms and conditions, and/or\nextend the term of the contract at the same annual amount, contingent upon\nsatisfactory contract performance and continued funding.
