Hearing on County Code, Title 12 - Environmental Protection Amendment\nHearing on an ordinance for adoption amending County Code, Title 12 -\nEnvironmental Protection, acting as the Governing Body of the county\nconsolidated Fire Protection District, to amend the definition within the County\nCode, Chapter 12.52 - Hazardous Waste Control of “large quantity generators"\nto the same standard established in Federal regulation and to delete the\nexemption provided to hazardous material handlers of carbon dioxide to be\nconsistent with California State law, which will allow for permitting and regulating\nthese facilities; and find that the amendments to the ordinance are exempt from\nthe California Environmental Quality Act.
