38. APPOINTMENT OF PLANNING COMMISSIONER\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council take one of the two the following actions:\n1. Appoint Juan Antonio DeLucas to another four (4) year term (1/1/2023 - 12/31/2026) or;\n2. Direct that the City Clerk advertise the vacancy on the Planning Commission, instruct staff to\nestablish time frames for the submittal of applications, and appoint two City Council members to a\nSelection Committee to conduct interviews with potential Planning Commission applicants.\nGENERAL, NON-AGENDA PUBLIC COMMENT: THIS IS THE TIME AND PLACE FOR THE GENERAL\nPUBLIC TO ADDRESS THE GOVERNING BOARD ON MATTERS NOT ON THE AGENDA AND WITHIN\nTHE CITY’S JURISDICTION.
