3-D. Architectural and Engineering Services Contract\nRecommendation: Authorize the Executive Director of the Los Angeles County\nDevelopment Authority to award and execute an Engineering Services Contract\nand related documents with Carde Ten Architects to provide design and other\nrelated services for the Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA)\nGenerator Installation Project (3, 4 and 5), for a contract amount not to exceed\n$525,000 in Capital Fund Program funds allocated by the United States\nDepartment of Housing and Urban Development and included in the LACDA’s\napproved Fiscal Year (FY) 2022-23 budget; upon determination and as\nnecessary and appropriate under the terms of the contract, amend and\nterminate the contract for convenience; increase the contract amount, if\nnecessary, by up to $52,500, which represents 10% of the $525,000 contract\namount, for unforeseen services associated with the contract, using the same\nsource of funds and included in the LACDA’s approved FY 2022-23 budget;\nand find that the proposed actions are either not subject to or are exempt from\nthe California Environmental Quality Act.
