16. Museum of Natural History Agreement Amendment\nRecommendation: Instruct the Chair to sign an amendment to an agreement\nwith the Museum of Natural History Foundation (Museum Foundation), which will\namend the Funding Agreement to increase the base amount of the County’s\nfunding obligation by $1,000,000 beginning in Fiscal Year 2022-23, the\nincrease will allow the County and the Museum Foundation to continue the\nsuccessful operation of the Museum; approve an appropriation adjustment to\ntransfer $1,000,000 from the Provisional Financing Uses budget unit to the\nMuseum budget unit to increase the base amount of the County’s funding\nobligation; and find that the proposed action is not considered a project under\nthe California Environmental Quality Act.
