37. On-Call Real Estate Title, Acquisition, and Relocation Assistance Services\nand On-Call Real Estate Appraisal Services Agreements\nRecommendation: Award and authorize the Director of Public Works to execute\none consultant services agreement with Monument ROW to provide on-call real\nestate title, acquisition, and relocation assistance services for various Federally\nand non-Federally funded County projects, throughout the County, the\nagreement will commence upon execution by the County with an initial\nthree-year term, plus two one-year extension options if exercised, with a\nmaximum contract amount of $5,000,000 for the five-year term; execute one\nconsultant services agreement with Bender Rosenthal, Inc., to provide on-call\nreal estate appraisal services for various Federally and non-Federally funded\nCounty projects throughout the County, the agreement will commence upon\nexecution by the County with an initial three-year term, plus two one-year\nextension options for a total contract term of five years, and a maximum\ncontract amount of $5,000,000 for the five-year term; award the recommended\nagreements to the next highest rated proposer in the event that the initially\nselected proposer is determined to be nonresponsive due to extensive and\ncomplicated Caltrans Conformance Review requirements; administer each of\nthe agreements and, at the discretion of the Director, exercise the extension\noptions to extend the term of the agreements based upon project demands and\nthe level of satisfaction with the services provided with no change to the initial\ncontract amount.
