Parking Citation Processing Services Sole Source Contract Amendment\nRecommendation: Approve and instruct the Chair to sign a sole source\namendment to a contract with Conduent State & Local Solutions, Inc. to extend\nthe for one additional year, from January 19, 2023 through January 18, 2024,\nwith one six-month extension option, in any increment, and upgrade the\nhandheld electronic ticket-writer computing devices and printers (Field\nEquipment), and software used to generate citations; authorize the Sheriff to\nexecute an amendment to the contract to exercise the additional six-month\nextension option in any increment, provided it is in the best interest of the\nCounty, and terminate the contract for convenience, either in whole or in part, if\nnecessary, with 30 calendar days advance written notice, once the Department\nhas completed the solicitation process for a replacement contract.
