County Code, Title 32 - Fire Code Amendment\nOrdinance for introduction amending County Code, Title 32 - Fire Code, to\nrepeal Title 32 - Fire Code, which incorporated by reference portions of the\n2019 Edition of the California Fire Code, and replaces it with a new Title 32\ncontaining that incorporates by reference the 2022 Edition of the California Fire\nCode, with certain changes and amendments, which itself largely incorporates\nby reference, with certain changes and amendments, the 2021 Edition of the\nInternational Fire Code; State law allows the County and Consolidated Fire\nProtection District of Los Angeles County (District) to adopt more restrictive\nbuilding standards than the 2022 Edition of the California Fire Code if they are\nreasonably necessary because of local climatic, geological, and/or\ntopographical conditions; this ordinance contains findings that all of the\namendments to the 2022 Edition of the California Fire Code that constitute more\nrestrictive building standards are reasonably necessary because of local\nclimatic, geological, and/or topographical conditions in the County of Los\nAngeles; this ordinance further amends Title 32 by making administrative\nchanges and editorial corrections; unless deleted or modified herein, the\npreviously enacted provisions of Title 32 continue in effect; this ordinance\nadopts Title 32 as the Fire Code for the District.
