5. Executing the First Countywide Community Workforce Agreement\nRevised recommendation as submitted by Supervisors Barger and Hahn: Direct\nthe Chief Executive Officer, in coordination with the Interim County Counsel\nand the Director of Public Works, to take the following actions: (Continued from\nthe meeting of 12-20-22)\nComplete negotiations with the Los Angeles/Orange Counties Building\nTrades Council on the Countywide Community Workforce Agreement\ninclusive of the following key terms:\nThe Countywide Community Workforce Agreement will be\napplicable to all Departments, Commissions, and Agencies\ndelivering County capital and construction projects;\nSet a $5,000,000 construction contract value threshold for projects\nto be included in the Countywide Community Workforce\nAgreement;\nExclude all Job Order Contracts from the provisions of the\nCountywide Community Workforce Agreement; and\nSet a $5,000,000 construction contract value threshold for housing\nprojects to be included in the Countywide Community Workforce\nAgreement, including directly constructed County projects, and\nprojects where the County contributes to the threshold amount;\nand\nNegotiate the remaining outstanding terms of the agreement and report\nback to the Board in writing in 30 days with a final agreement.
