E. Adoption of a Resolution and Authorization for the City Manager to Execute a Housing Trust Fund\nLoan to Community Corporation of Santa Monica for the Rehabilitation of 2033-2101 Virginia Avenue\nRecommended Action\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute all necessary documents to make\na Housing Trust Fund loan to Community Corporation of Santa Monica in the amount of\n$34,800,000 for the rehabilitation of 2033-2101 Virginia Avenue; and\n2. Adopt the resolution, making a determination that the units located at 2033-2101 Virginia\nAvenue are unfit for human habitation and committing loan assistance for the substantial\nrehabilitation of those units in the amount of $34,800,000.\n3.
