8.11 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 2025-01, SLURRY SEAL OF VALLEY VIEW\nAVENUE FROM ROSECRANS AVENUE TO 330 FEET SOUTH OF ALONDRA\nBOULEVARD AND NORTHBOUND LANES FROM PARK PLACE TO ARTESIA\nBOULEVARD - FINDING THAT PURSUANT TO THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL\nQUALITY ACT OF 1970, THE PROJECT IS CATEGORICALLY EXEMPT UNDER\nSECTION 15301 CLASS 1 (C), APPROVAL OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AND\nJOINT PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF SANTA FE SPRINGS - It is\nrecommended the City Council find that pursuant to the California Environmental Quality\nAct of 1970, the project is categorically exempt under Section 15301 Class 1 (c) and will\nhave no significant adverse effects on the environment; approve the plans and\nspecifications for Capital Improvement Project No. 2025-01, Slurry Seal of Valley View\nAvenue from Rosecrans Avenue to 330 Fee South of Alondra Boulevard and Northbound\nLanes from Park Place to Artesia Boulevard; approve the Joint Participation Agreement\nwith the City of Santa Fe Springs and authorize the Mayor to execute the agreement on\nbehalf of the City; and authorize the City Clerk to advertise for sealed bids.\n8.11 CIP No. 2025-01, Slurry Seal of Valley View Avenue
