(RICHARD / KAVOUSE)\nRESOLUTION NO. 25-51\nA RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF\nADELANTO, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THE RESULTS\nOF THE PROPERTY OWNER PROTEST BALLOT\nPROCEEDING CONDUCTED FOR THE FORMATION OF\nDRAINAGE BENEFIT ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 2025-1\n(BELLFLOWER-TRACT 20675), THE DIAGRAM AND\nASSESSMENTS RELATED THERETO, AND APPROVING\nRESOLUTION NO. 25-52\nA RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF\nADELANTO, CALIFORNIA, CONFIRMING THE\nFORMATION OF DRAINAGE BENEFIT ASSESSMENT\nDISTRICT 2025-1 (BELLFLOWER-TRACT 20675),\nCONFIRMING THE ENGINEER’S REPORT, LEVYING\nASSESSMENTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025/2026 IF SO\nDESIRED, AND AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF THE\nASSESSMENT TO THE COUNTY FOR COLLECTION\nCOMMENCING FISCAL YEAR 2026/2027\nRECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the City Council conduct the final public\nhearing, consider all testimony, tabulate protest ballots, and adopt Resolution No. 25-51,\ndeclaring the results of the property owner protest ballot proceeding for the formation of\nDrainage Benefit Assessment District (“DBAD 2025-1”); and Resolution No. 25-52, confirming\nthe formation of the District, approving the Engineer’s Report, levying the assessments for Fiscal\nYear 2025/2026 (if so desired via manual invoice), and authorizing submission to the County of\nSan Bernardino for inclusion on the secured tax roll beginning in Fiscal Year 2026/2027.
