Encampment Delegated Maintenance Agreement with the California Department of\nTransportation for Right­of­Way Maintenance Services and Appropriation of $400,000\nin Reimbursement Funding (Project No. 26­6423) (Non­General Fund)\nDepartment(s): Public Works Agency\nRecommended Action: 1. Approve an Encampment Delegated Maintenance\nAgreement with the California Department of Transportation for the City to provide\nencampment abatement, litter and debris removal, weed abatement, and graffiti\nremoval within Caltrans’ right­of­way, with Caltrans reimbursing the City up to\n$200,000 annually for two years through June 30, 2027 for a total amount not to\nexceed $400,000 (Agreement No. A­2025­XXX).\n2. Approve an appropriation adjustment in the amount of $400,000 to the Public\nWorks Agency Services, Contract Services­Professional expenditure account (No.\n05317021­62300), funded by reimbursements recorded in the City Services Expense\nReimbursement revenue account (No. 05317002­57000) (Requires five affirmative\nvotes).\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Agreement and any subsequent related\ndocuments, including amendments and exhibits, in a form approved by the City\nAttorney.
