6.\nAward of Construction Contract to California Professional Engineering Inc.,\nfor the Traffic Signal Equipment Upgrades Project, Cash Contract No. 24-05\nRecommendation\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Award a Construction Contract to California Professional Engineering Inc.,\nfor the Traffic Signal Equipment Upgrades Project, Cash Contract No. 2405 in the amount of $258,797;\n2. Authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer to process change\norders in an amount not to exceed 15% of the contract for $38,820, for a\ntotal not-to-exceed amount of $297,617 if needed;\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Construction Contract for the\nTraffic Signal Equipment Upgrades Project, Cash Contract No. 24-05 to\nCalifornia Professional Engineering Inc., subject to the City Attorney making\nnon-substantive changes; and,\n4. Authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer to execute the Notice of\nCompletion at the conclusion of construction.\nPUBLIC HEARING ITEM
