F\n\nConsideration and possible action to award a contract to Onyx Paving, Inc.,\n\nfor the Resurfacing of Alondra Boulevard from Bellflower Boulevard to\n\nHayter Avenue, Specifications No. 22/23-05; and authorize the City Manager\n\nto execute a contract with Onyx Paving, Inc., in a form approved by the\n\nCity Attorney.\n\nCEQA: The City reviewed the environmental impacts of the proposed activity\n\npursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (Public Resources Code\n\n§§ 21000, et seq. “CEQA”) and the regulations promulgated thereunder (14 Cal.\n\nCode of Regs. §§ 15000, et seq., the “CEQA Guidelines”). The activity\n\ncontemplates awarding a contract to repair and maintain existing improvements.\n\nAccordingly, no further environmental review is required pursuant to CEQA\n\nGuidelines § 15301 (Existing Facilities).\n\nRecommendation to City Council: 1) Award a contract to Onyx Paving, Inc., for the\n\nProject and authorize the City Manager to execute a contract in a form approved\n\nby the City Attorney; or 2) Alternatively, discuss and take other action related to\n\nthis item.
