5.\nNOTICE INVITING BIDS: STORY PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT – F2M22-37,\nN2M25-111\nThe Story Park Improvement Project seeks to convert the vacant pool space adjacent to\nthe Joslyn Center into a green space. The pool has been out of service for many years.\nThe project is funded by Proposition 68 Statewide Park Program. Specifications and bid\ndocumentation have been completed for the Project, which includes: Old pool and building\nremoval; New landscaping around the new green space; New picnic tables with shade\numbrellas; A small walking trail; and, Upgraded lighting. Project bids are due no later than\n10:30 a.m. on September 18, 2025 in the Office of the City Clerk, and will be opened at\n11:00 a.m. that same day.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council authorize staff to circulate a Notice Inviting Bids\nto prospective contractors for the construction of the Story Park Improvement Project with\nbids due September 18, 2025; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize\nCouncil’s action.
