6.\nNOTICE INVITING BIDS: GOLF COURSE PARKING\nENHANCEMENT PROJECT – F2M25-46, N2M25-112\nAREA\nLANDSCAPE\nThe Golf Course Parking Area Landscape Enhancement Project aims to enhance the\nlandscaped areas surrounding the golf course parking lot. The existing landscape features\noutdated and broken irrigation systems, along with missing plant materials that leave the\narea looking sparse and uninviting. The proposed improvements will significantly increase\nthe visual appeal of the site, particularly in anticipation of the new dog park. Specifications\nand bid documentation have been completed for the Project, which includes: Demolish\nexisting plant materials; Improve the grading of the dirt slope; Integrate new soil into the\nexisting slope; Install new water conservation system for irrigation; and, Add over 600+\nnew California native and drought tolerant plant materials. The project bids are due no\nlater than 10:30 a.m. on September 18, 2025 in the Office of the City Clerk, and will be\nopened at 11:00 a.m. that same day.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council authorize staff to circulate a Notice Inviting Bids\nto prospective contractors for the Golf Course Parking Area Landscape Enhancement\nProject with bids due on September 18, 2025; and, direct staff to undertake the steps\nnecessary to finalize Council’s action.
