7.\nAPPROVE MOU: MTA - NATIONAL TRANSIT DATABASE – F2M3-72, C2M25-37,\nM2M25-125\nStaff requests that the City Council approve a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for\ncollecting and reporting Alhambra ridership data for the National Transit Database for the\nreporting years 2022 and 2023. The City of Alhambra is required to approve the MOU\nbetween Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA) and the\nCity and submit an invoice to the MTA prior to June 30, 2027 and June 30, 2028\nrespectively, in order to receive payment.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council approve a Memorandum of Understanding\n(MOU), subject to final language approval by the City Manager and City Attorney by and\nbetween the City of Alhambra and the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation\nAuthority for collecting and reporting data for the National Transit Database for the Report\n6\nYear 2022 and 2023; direct the Director of Finance to invoice LACMTA in the amount of\n$178,639 for the 2021-22 Reporting Year and $177,014 for the 2022-23 Reporting Year\nonce the MOU is executed; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize\nCouncil’s action.
