4.\nNOTICE OF COMPLETION: DESIGN AND PURCHASE OF ALHAMBRA\nPLACEMAKING SIGNAGE PROJECT – F2M24-51, C2M25-1, M2M25-124\nOn January 13, 2025, the City Council awarded a contract to Square Signs LLC dba Front\nSigns for $159,665.55 for the Design and Purchase of Alhambra Placemaking Signage\nProject. The Placemaking Signs were installed at Alhambra, Almansor and Granada\nParks. There were no change orders associated with the project. This project has been\ninspected by staff, and all work has been completed in accordance with the City’s\nrequirements and specifications. As such, it would be appropriate for the City Council to\naccept this project as complete.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council accept the work of Square Signs LLC dba Front\nSigns for the Design and Purchase of Alhambra Placemaking Signage Project as\ncomplete in the amount of $159,665.55; direct the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion\nwith the County of Los Angeles for recordation; instruct the Finance Director to release\nthe 5 percent retention 35 days from the date of recordation, if no liens are filed; and direct\nstaff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.
