11.\nRESOLUTION: AUTHORIZATION FOR THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT ON\nBEHALF OF THE CITY THE CALTRANS SURFACE TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM\n(STPL) FUNDS – F2M25-48, R2M25-33\nThe City of Alhambra has been notified the Poplar Boulevard Street Rehabilitation Project\nthat was submitted under STPL has been approved in the amount of $238,000. The\nproject involves paving Poplar from Main Street to Fremont Ave., some sidewalk repairs\nand the installation of ADA ramps. The Federal Funds for the Project will be distributed\nthrough the California Department of Transportation and Los Angeles County MTA. The\ncontract documents require the City Council to adopt a resolution designating an official\nto execute the agreements and supporting documents. Staff is recommending the City\nCouncil designate the City Manager.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council adopt Resolution No. R2M25-33 entitled: A\nResolution of the Alhambra City Council authorizing the City Manager to act on behalf of\nthe City of Alhambra with respect to the Surface Transportation Program (STPL)\nTransportation Funds administered through the California Department of Transportation\nand Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA); and, direct staff to\nundertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.
