8.\nAUTHORIZE RFP: WATER WELL MAINTENANCE SERVICES AND PUMP AND\nMOTOR REPAIRS – F2M25-47, RFP2M25-15\nMaintaining the City’s water well infrastructure is crucial for ensuring a consistent supply\nof clean and safe drinking water. Water Well maintenance services and pump and motor\nrepairs are needed to maintain the well's performance, water quality, longevity of the well,\nand to prevent costly repairs or complete replacement. Regular water well maintenance\nand well rehabilitation not only extend the lifespan of wells but also prevent common\nissues that can lead to costly repairs. Annual water well maintenance is a proactive step\nto ensure adequate water flow and continued drinking water safety. This RFP would be\nfor a three-year contract for Water Well Maintenance Services and Pump and Motor\nRepairs.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council authorize the distribution of a Request for\nProposals (RFP) for Water Well Maintenance Services and Pump and Motor Repairs for\nthe Utilities Division with proposals due no later than 4:00 p.m. on September 25, 2025;\nand, direct staff to undertake the steps needed to finalize Council’s action.
