5.B. RECOGNITION AND APPRECIATION PLAQUE TO\nHONOR CITY COUNCILMEMBERS [J.\nERICKSON, C. BYERS, Y. QUARKER, A.\nLOVANO]:\nThe City Council will consider directing staff to\ndevelop design options for a recognition and\nappreciation plaque honoring and remembering\nCouncilmembers that served the City of West\nHollywood.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Direct staff to develop\ndesign options for a recognition and appreciation\nplaque honoring and remembering City\nCouncilmembers; 2) Return to City Council with an\noverview of potential options for the commemorative\nplaque, including designs for consideration and\nlocation prior to moving forward with installation; 3)\nAuthorize the Director of Finance and Technology\nServices to allocate $30,000 from unallocated\nGeneral Fund reserves to the Special Council\nPrograms Account 100-1-01-00-531001 and increase\nthe budget for Special Council Programs by the\nsame amount; and 4) Authorize the Director of\nFinance and Technology Services to allocate $30,000\nfrom Fiscal Year 2022-23 funds in the Special\nCouncil Programs account number 100-1-01-00-\n531001 for costs associated with the design and\ninstallation of the plaque.\nSTAFF REPORT\nITEM 5.B. - ATTACHMENT A\nPUBLIC CORRESPONDENCE 4.3.23
