15.\nPURCHASE OF BIG BELLY TRASH AND RECYCLING SOLAR COMPACTOR\nUNITS - This item considers approval of the purchase of ten Big Belly Solar Trash and\nRecycling Units for placement at City parks to continue standardizing the collection of\nrecyclables and waste.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council:\n1. Approve the purchase, through Waxie Sanitary Supply, of ten Big Belly Solar Trash\nand Recycling Units, using the appropriated budget from the Construction and\nDemolition Forfeiture funds and the City/County Beverage Container Payment\nProgram grant from CalRecycle in the amount not to exceed $115,687.\n2. Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute all documents subject to City\nAttorney approval.\nThis time has been set aside for any speakers that have turned in speaker cards and were not\nheard in the first thirty minutes allotted to address the City Council on items that are NOT on the\nagenda.
