11.6\nConsideration of a Resolution Approving a Purchase Order\nAgreement with Fairway Ford Sales, Inc. for the Purchase of a\n2026 Ford Police Interceptor Utility Vehicle\nRECOMMENDATION: It is staff’s recommendation that the City\nCouncil adopt the attached Resolution approving a Purchase Order\nAgreement with Fairway Ford Sales, Inc, for the purchase of a 2026\nFord Police Interceptor Utility Vehicle for a not-to-exceed amount of\n$54,151.54.\nCONCLUSION:\nThe purchase of a new vehicle will aid the Police Department with\ntraffic enforcement operations in hopes of reducing traffic collisions\nrelated to impaired driving and improving overall safety of our\ncommunity.\nAs such, staff is recommending that the City Council adopt the\nattached Resolution approving a Purchase Order Agreement with\nFairway Ford Sales, Inc. for the purchase of a new vehicle.\nFISCAL IMPACT:\nThe total cost for this requested expenditure is $54,151.54. The City\nwill be reimbursed the entire amount from the California Highway\nPatrol FY2025-26 Cannabis Tax Fund Grant.
