4.6 Award of Public Works Construction Contract to GA Technical Services, Inc.\nfor CIP 520, Community Center Electrical Improvements\nRecommendation: That the City Council: 1. Award the Public Works Construction\nContract for the Laguna Hills Community Center Electrical Upgrades Project, CIP\nNo. 520, to the lowest responsive bidder, GA Technical Services, Inc., in the\namount of $293,059.26; 2. Find that the Project is Categorically Exempt from the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), Class 1 Existing Facilities, pursuant to\nCEQA Guidelines, Section 15301; 3. Reject all other construction bids; 4. Reject the\nbid protest; and 5. Authorize the Interim City Manager to sign the Public Works\nConstruction Contract with GA Technical Services, Inc.
