1.8 ACCEPTANCE OF CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF TRAFFIC SAFETY SELECTIVE\nTRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM (STEP) GRANT, MOTORCYCLE\nSAFETY GRANT, AND CHILD PASSENGER SAFETY PROGRAM GRANT\nACTION:\n1) Authorize a $490,000 STEP grant award from the California Office of Traffic\nSafety.\n2) Approve a budget adjustment appropriating $490,000 for the California\nOffice of Traffic Safety STEP grant.\n3) Authorize a $20,000 Motorcycle Safety grant award from the California\nOffice of Traffic Safety.\n4) Approve a budget adjustment appropriating $20,000 for the California Office\nof Traffic Safety Motorcycle Safety grant.\n5) Authorize a $29,000 Child Passenger Safety Program grant award from the\nCalifornia Office of Traffic Safety.\n6) Approve a budget adjustment appropriating $29,000 for the California Office\nof Traffic Safety Child Passenger Safety Program grant.\n1.8
