14.8\nAccount No:\n232-67-095-8221\nProp A/Measure A M&S Fund\nConsideration and Approval for the Purchase of Daniel Defense Patrol Rifle Systems,\nMagazines, Rifle Sights, Suppressors, Holosun Red-Dot Sights and Firearm System\nAccessories.\nRECOMMENDATION OF BUSINESS ITEM UNDER CONSIDERATION:\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Consider and approve the appropriation of Asset Forfeiture funds for the purchase of:\n130 Daniel Defense M4 V7S 11.5” rifles; 260 PMAG 30 round rifle magazines; 130\nMagpul front sights; 130 Magpul rear sights; 130 Vicker push button slings; 130 Surefire\nweapon lights; 130 Holosun HE515 red dot optics; 130 Tac Ops Titanium CQB 556\nsuppressors; and 130 BHP Sportster tactical carbine rifle cases, for use by the El Monte\nPolice Department in an amount not-to-exceed $500,000;\n2. Consider and approve the purchase of the above-mentioned rifle system equipment,\nsuppressors, and accessories from ProForce Law Enforcement and Tactical Operations\nIncorporated;\n3. Instruct the Finance Department to encumber the necessary funds to complete this\npurchase; and\n4.
