20. Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute agreements,\nand all necessary documents including any necessary amendments, with the Long\nBeach Unified School District (LBUSD) for the operation of the Expanded Learning\nOpportunities Program at Burbank, Edison, Garfield, Grant, Herrera, King, and\nLafayette Elementary school sites, in an amount not to exceed $2,466,470, for the\nperiod of July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026, and to include any extension periods\napproved by LBUSD, at the discretion of the City Manager; and\nIncrease appropriations in the General Grants Fund Group in the Parks,\nRecreation and Marine Department by $2,466,470, offset by grant revenue.\n(Districts 1, 2, 7, 9)\n12. Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to accept and expend\ngrant funds from the California Department of Parks and Recreation for capital\nimprovements at Hudson Park, and enter into any agreements and amendments\nrelated thereto, in an amount not to exceed $2,000,000;\nIncrease appropriations in the Capital Projects Fund Group in the Parks,\nRecreation and Marine Department by $200,000, offset by grant revenue from the\nCalifornia Department of Parks and Recreation;\nIncrease appropriations in the Capital Projects Fund Group in the Parks,\nRecreation and Marine Department by $200,000, offset by a transfer of California\nDepartment of Parks and Recreation grant funds from the Capital Grants Fund;\nIncrease appropriations in the Capital Projects Fund Group in the Public Works\nDepartment by $1,800,000, offset by grant revenue from the California Department\nof Parks and Recreation; and\nIncrease appropriations in the Capital Projects Fund Group in the Public Works\nDepartment by $1,800,000, offset by a transfer of California Department of Parks\nand Recreation grant funds from the Capital Grants Fund.
