M. Approval of Agreement with Insight Public Sector, Inc. for the Purchase of Microsoft Enterprise\nLicenses\nRecommended Action\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1.\nAdopt a finding of no possibility of significant effect pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3)\n(Common Sense Exemption) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)\nGuidelines;\n2. Authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute an agreement with Insight Public\nSector, Inc. for the purchase of Microsoft enterprise software licenses, including software\nlicense upgrades and license planning services, for the Information Services Department.\nThis recommended award is made as an exception to the competitive bidding process\npursuant to Section 2.24.250 (c) and is for an amount not to exceed $1,234,824\n(including a $161,064 contingency) for one year, with two additional one-year renewal\noptions on the same terms and conditions for a total amount not to exceed $4,462,624\nover a three-year period (including a $582,082 contingency), with future year funding\ncontingent on Council budget approval.\na.
