CC 4. Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) Grant Agreement - Avenue J Neighborhood\nPark\nRecommendation(s):\nA. Accept the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) grant award in the amount of\nup to $2,460,097 for the Avenue J Neighborhood Park project to the revenue account\n30069900.4998 (Capital Improvement Project CP11ZZ016.FEDOTHER).\nB. Appropriate Land and Water Conservation Funds (LWCF) in the amount of up to\n$2,460,097 to the expenditure account 30069900 (Capital Improvement Project,\nCP11ZZ016 for construction, salaries, and benefits).\nC. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute the grant contract, including all\nnecessary documents and provisions, subject to City Attorney approval.\nThe Avenue J Pocket Park project includes the construction of a new 2.9-acre park\nfeaturing drought-tolerant landscape, a shaded playground, a walking path with\nlighting and benches, a shaded plaza/picnic area, a fitness course with exercise stations,\nan open space area, signage, and perimeter fencing.
