D.\nAUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVANCE WORK ON THE PALM SPRINGS\nCONVENTION CENTER MODERNIZATION PROJECT AND DIRECT STAFF TO\nCONTINUE WITH PROJECT PLANNING\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1. Authorize the City Manager to continue advancing work on of the Palm Springs\nConvention Center Modernization Project and direct staff to continue with Project\nplanning; and,\n2. Find that the recommended actions are exempt from the California Environmental\nQuality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Sections 15262 and 15301, Class 1.
