SELECTION OF CLEAN ENERGY ALLIANCE DEFAULT ENERGY SUPPLY OPTION FOR CITY OF ESCONDIDO\nELECTRICITY CUSTOMERS\nRequest the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2023-09 selecting “Clean Impact Plus – 50% Renewable /\n75% Carbon Free Energy” as the Clean Energy Alliance (“CEA”) Default Energy Supply Option. Staff\nrecommend this option because it provides the best combination of value to the customer and\nadvancement of the goals of the City’s Climate Action Plan.
