CONSIDER APPROVAL OF FORMS, AGREEMENTS AND RESOLUTION NO. 25-112 ALLOWING THE\nCITY OF CARSON TO PARTICIPATE IN ADDITIONAL NATIONAL OPIOID SETTLEMENT WITH PURDUE\nAND THE SACKLER FAMILY (CITY COUNCIL)\nRECOMMENDED ACTION\n— 1. APPROVE Settlement Agreement and Participation Form for the City’s participation in the\nNational Opioid Settlement Agreement with Purdue Pharma LP and the Sackler Family.\n— 2. APPROVE the California State-Subdivision Agreement Regarding Distribution and Use of\nSettlement Funds relating to the National Opioid Settlement Agreement with Purdue Pharma LP\nand the Sackler Family.\n— 3. ADOPT Resolution No. 25-112 approving and authorizing the City Manager to carry out all\nnecessary acts such that the City can participate in the National Opioid Settlement with Purdue\nPharma LP and the Sackler Family, including signing necessary documents and transmittal\nthereof as necessary.
