1.\nConsideration to to receive updates on the Greater Portuguese Bend-Ancient\nAltamira Landslide Complex and revise the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025-26 budget.\n(Awwad/Ramos/Forbes) (60 mins)\nAGENDA REPORT FORTHCOMING\nRecommendation: 1) Receive and file an update on the Greater Portuguese\nBend-Ancient Altamira Landslide Complex (Landslide Complex) conditions,\nactivities, and financials; 2) Review and provide input on the ranked priority\norder list and budget for the FY 2025-26 Landslide Complex program; 3)\nRatify, nunc pro tunc (meaning to replace the prior version correcting an\ninadvertent omission) the Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with GeoLogic Associates, Inc. (GLA) for final engineering design, environmental\ndocuments, and related services for the Portuguese Bend Landslide\nRemediation Project to add federal grant compliance clauses with no change\nto the PSA amount, and authorize the Mayor to execute the PSA in a form\napproved by the City Attorney; 4) Award a PSA to Geosyntec Consultants, Inc.\nfor a Landslide Hydrology and Hydraulics Study in the amount of $1,100,200\nwith a 15% contingency for a total amount of up to $1,265,230, and authorize\nthe Mayor to execute the agreement in a form approved by the City Attorney;\n5) Award a PSA to Michael R. McGee, PLS, dba McGee Survey Consulting for\nsurveying services in connection with the Portuguese Bend Landslide\nEmergency Stabilization Project in FY 2025-26 in the not-to-exceed amount of\n$320,000 for a one-year term,?and authorize the Mayor to execute the PSA in\na form approved by the City Attorney; 6) Award a revised PWA with Ocean\nBlue Environmental Services, Inc. for on-call landslide emergency spill\nresponse and related services in Fiscal Year 2025-26 in the not-to-exceed\namount of $1,400,000 for a one-year term, and authorize the Mayor to execute\nthe PWA in a form Approved by the City Attorney; 7) Adopt Resolution No.\n2025-___, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF\nRANCHO PALOS VERDES, CALIFORNIA, EXTENDING FOR A TERM OF 60\nDAYS THE TEMPORARY PROHIBITION ON TRAVEL BY UNICYCLES,\nBICYCLES, MOTORCYCLES, AND OTHER ONE- OR TWO-WHEELED\nVEHICLES ON PALOS VERDES DRIVE SOUTH WITHIN THE LANDSLIDE\nCOMPLEX DUE TO CONTINUED ROADWAY CONDITIONS; 8) Adopt\nResolution No. 2025-__, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE\nCITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CALIFORNIA, CONTINUING THE\nLOCAL EMERGENCY DECLARATION AS ESTABLISHED BY RESOLUTION\nNO. 2023-47 ADOPTED ON OCTOBER 3, 2023 FOR AN ADDITIONAL 60\nDAY PERIOD; and, 9) Adopt Resolution No. 2025-__, A RESOLUTION OF\nTHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES,\nCALIFORNIA, EXTENDING THE STATE OF LOCAL EMERGENCY WITHIN\nTHE GEOGRAPHIC BOUNDARIES OF THE PORTUGUESE BEND\nCOMMUNITY ASSOCIATION, PORTUGUESE BEND BEACH CLUB, AND\nSEAVIEW NEIGHBORHOODS\nBASED ON SUDDEN ENERGY\nSHORTAGES, PLANNED DEENERGIZING EVENTS, AND INTERNET\nSERVICE SHUT OFFS AS ESTABLISHED BY RESOLUTION NOS. 2024-52\nAND 2024-57 FOR AN ADDITIONAL 60 DAYS.
