PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER A SUBSTANTIAL AMENDMENT TO THE COMMUNITY\nDEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT –\nCORONAVIRUS (CDBG-CV) PROGRAM YEAR 2024-2025 BUDGET TO REALLOCATE UNEXPENDED\nFUNDS INTO PROGRAM YEAR 2025–2026 (CITY COUNCIL)\nRECOMMENDED ACTION\n— 1. OPEN the Public Hearing, TAKE public Testimony, and CLOSE the Public Hearing;\n— 2. APPROVE the submission of Substantial Amendments to the 2024-25 and 2019-20 Annual\nAction Plans to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD);\n— 3. APPROVE the proposed Substantial Amendment to the City of Carson’s CDBG and CDBGCV Annual Action Plan for the reallocation of unexpended funds;\n— 4. WAIVE further reading and ADOPT Resolution No. 25-096 reallocating $895,896.22 in\nCDBG Program Year 2024–2025 funds and $238,642.25 in unexpended CDBG-CV funds to the\nProgram Year 2025–2026 Annual Action Plan; and\n— 5. AUTHORIZE the City Manager, or designee, to execute any amendments, forms, or\ncertifications necessary to effectuate the approved allocations.
