A-1.\nContinue local emergencies as a result of the following: (a) Discovery of an\ninfestation of fruit flies, as proclaimed on May 10, 1990; (b) Conditions of extreme\nperil to the safety of persons exist on the basis of pervasive and pernicious\nhomelessness in Los Angeles County, as proclaimed and ratified by the Board on\nJanuary 10, 2023; (c) Conditions of extreme peril to the safety of persons and\nproperty arose as a result of severe winter storms beginning January 1, 2023\naffecting areas throughout Los Angeles County, as proclaimed on January 10, 2023\nand ratified by the Board on January 17, 2023; (d) Conditions of disaster or extreme\nperil to the safety of persons and property on the basis of the frigid winter storms\nbeginning February 23, 2023 affecting the areas throughout Los Angeles County, as\nproclaimed on March 1, 2023 and ratified by the Board on March 7, 2023; (e)\nConditions of extreme peril to the safety of persons and property exist on the basis\nof the arrival, presence, and impacts of Tropical Storm Hilary throughout Los\nAngeles County beginning August 20, 2023, as proclaimed on August 20, 2023 and\nratified by the Board on August 22, 2023; (f) Conditions of disaster or of extreme\nperil to the safety of persons and property exist on the basis of winter storms in the\nCounty beginning February 1, 2024, as proclaimed on February 4, 2024 and ratified\nby the Board on February 6, 2024; (g) Conditions of extreme peril to the safety of\npersons and property exist as a result of the Bridge Fire in the County beginning on\nSeptember 8, 2024, as proclaimed on September 10, 2024 and ratified by the\nBoard on September 17, 2024; (h) Conditions of disaster or extreme peril to the\nsafety of persons and property exist as a result of the Franklin Fire in the County\nbeginning on December 9, 2024, as proclaimed and ratified by the Board on\nDecember 10, 2024; (i) Conditions of disaster or extreme peril to the safety of\npersons and property within the territorial limits of the County exist at Los Padrinos\nJuvenile Hall caused and/or exacerbated by the Board of State and Community\nCorrections’ order to immediately shutter Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall, the only\navailable juvenile hall in the County, beginning on December 12, 2024, as\nproclaimed and ratified by the Board on December 17, 2024; (j) Conditions of\ndisaster or extreme peril to the safety of persons and property exist as a result of the\nJanuary 2025 Windstorm and Critical Fire Events in the County, beginning on\nJanuary 7, 2025, as proclaimed on January 7, 2025 and ratified by the Board on\nJanuary 14, 2025; and (k) Conditions of disaster or extreme peril to the safety of\npersons exists on the basis of the winter storm in the County beginning February 12,\n2025, as proclaimed by the Board on February 19, 2025 and ratified by the Board\non February 25, 2025; (l) Conditions of disaster or extreme peril to the safety of\npersons and property exists as a result of the Canyon Fire in the County beginning\nAugust 7, 2025, as proclaimed by the Board on August 7, 2025 and ratified by the\nBoard on August 12, 2025.
